Our Accessibility Commitment
Last reviewed: 13 May 2025
Version 1.1
At Enby Meaning™, we are committed to making our digital space inclusive and accessible to all users, regardless of ability. We believe everyone deserves equal access to information, community, and creativity — and we’re actively working toward that goal.
Our website is designed with accessibility in mind, following Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA wherever possible. This includes:
Screen reader compatibility
Descriptive alt text for images
Keyboard navigation
Responsive design for various devices
Clear colour contrast and readable fonts
Accessibility Roadmap
We recognise accessibility is a journey — not a checkbox. Here’s what we’re currently working on:
Completed
Accessibility audit of navigation and page structure (March 2025)
Image alt-text optimisation (April 2025)
Mobile keyboard tab navigation improvements (April 2025)
In Progress
Adding ARIA labels to all interactive elements
Audio descriptions for video content
Accessible forms with proper focus states
Planned
Full site WCAG 2.2 compliance review
Quarterly accessibility testing by community testers
Translation of key accessibility content into multiple languages
Report an Issue
Despite our best efforts, some barriers may still exist. If you encounter an accessibility issue or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at care@enbymeaning.com with the subject line: Accessibility Feedback. Include:
Page or feature affected
Assistive tech used (if applicable)
Brief description of the issue
We are committed to reviewing and responding to all feedback in a timely and respectful manner.
While Enby Meaning strives for full accessibility across our digital content, we may occasionally use third-party platforms or embedded tools (e.g. video players, booking software) that are outside our direct control. We encourage these providers to meet accessibility standards and advocate for inclusive tech across the web.
We're continually learning, growing, and adapting, and your voice helps guide that journey. Thank you for being part of our community.
