Refunds, Returns & Purchase Policy

Effective as of 13 May 2025

At Enby Meaning™, we aim to be transparent, fair, and aligned with our values when it comes to purchases made through our website or services.

This policy applies to digital products, services, and purchases made via affiliate links on www.enbymeaning.com.

Digital Products & Services

All digital purchases (e.g., downloadable guides, eBooks, workshops, templates, etc.) are non-refundable unless:

  • You experience a technical issue that prevents access and we are unable to resolve it

  • You made a duplicate purchase in error and contact us within 7 days

  • Your country’s consumer laws (e.g., New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act) entitle you to a remedy for a faulty or misleading product

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Lack of compatibility due to your device or software

  • Partial use or lack of perceived results

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, contact us within 7 days at: legal@enbymeaning.com

1:1 Services or Custom Work

Refunds for 1:1 services (e.g., consultations, workshops, design packages) are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Generally:

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be rescheduled or refunded

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled time are non-refundable

  • Missed appointments are not eligible for refunds

You may request rescheduling or discuss extenuating circumstances by emailing care@enbymeaning.com

Affiliate Product Purchases

Some links on our site lead to third-party stores (e.g., Amazon, Bookshop.org, ShareASale partners) where we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase. In these cases:

  • Your purchase, return, and refund will be governed by the third party's policies, not Enby Meaning™

  • Please contact the retailer directly for support, returns, or disputes

  • We are not responsible for shipping delays, defective items, or order issues from third parties

Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes your statutory rights under local consumer protection laws. If you reside in:

  • New Zealand: You are protected under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986

  • United States: Your rights are governed by state and federal e-commerce and consumer protection laws

  • EU/UK: You may be entitled to a 14-day withdrawal period for digital goods not yet accessed/downloaded
